What products do you offer?

We offer custom printed Photo Books and Calendars. These are the available book formats:

  • US Letter, 8.25 inches by 10.75 inches
  • Digest, 5.25 inches by 8.25 inches
  • Digest Landscape, 8.25 inches by 5.25 inches
  • Square, 8.0 inches by 8.0 inches

All books are available in saddle stitched (4-100 pages in multiples of 4 pages) and perfect bound (20-384 pages in multiples of 2 pages) bindings.

Calendar's dimensions are 11 inches by 14 inches, with 28 Wire-O pages of sturdy 80# Cover paper. To hang it on a wall, you will have to punch a small hole through the pages.

What is the difference between saddle stitched and perfect binding?
Saddle stitched photo books are folded and stapled together. Perfect-bound are square at the spine and use glue to hold the pages, like a paperback book. Perfect binding can accommodate a much higher page count - everything from 20 to 384 pages, while saddle-stitch can be used only up to 100 pages. We charge $1.00 extra for perfect binding, but we recommend it for all photo books that have 20 or more pages. All photo book formats are available in both binding options. Calendars are saddle stitched.
How many photos can I use?
We suggest you to use maximum 6 to 7 photos a page. The page limit for photo books is 384 pages, so more than 1000 photos can be used for one large photo book. But remember, you photos will look best when using a smaller amount of photos per page.
Does Poyomi support international text characters?
Yes, we will print a variety of characters and signs used around the world. Everything that you see when creating your Poyomi Photo Book or Calendar will be printed exactly the same.
What browsers do you support?
We support the latest versions of Mozilla Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera and Internet Explorer 9. Internet Explorer 8 and below are not supported.

Book Editor

What photo sources do you support?
You can upload photos directly from your computer or connect to your account at any of these services: Flickr, Picasa, SmugMug, Facebook, Dropbox and Instagram.
What is the difference between Basic and Advanced mode?

Basic mode arranges all of your photos in an uniform layout, with the option to add a text intro and outro page. It's meant to be fast and simple for newcomers.

Advanced mode offers various containers - little pieces that assemble your final book. Full spread photos, text pages and multiple photos can be mixed together into a single book.

How do I change the Photo Book's title?
Click on the book's cover preview or on the "Edit cover" button. Cover editor will appear and you will be able to change the book's title and subtitle, add a photo to your cover or change the color scheme.
Can I save my photo book and edit it later?

Your book can be saved by navigating to the top right drop down menu and clicking Save. It can also be done by clicking the Save button on the final page of your book's assembly. This is available in both Basic and Advanced mode. You can access your saved photo book in My Account. Just restore it and continue editing where you left off. All your photos and settings will be preserved.

This option is available for signed in users only.

I wish to restart my photo book from scratch, how can I do that when I already started to create a photo book?
Navigate to the top right drop down menu and click New, this will delete your current work and you will able to start from scratch. If you've already started to work on something, Poyomi will ask you if you wish to Save the book before starting from the beginning.
If I add my photo book to cart, will I be able to edit it later?
You can edit the book you added to cart but remember that the version that is in the cart will not change. If you wish to order the latest version, remove the previous one from the cart and add the latest version.
What happens if I click Finalize Book in the last step?
Poyomi will create a home page for your photo book - here's a sample home page. If you enter your email address Poyomi will also notify you when the book's home page is ready. Use it to enable your friends to order copies or if you don't want to make any other changes to the book.

Galleries and QR codes

What are galleries?
Each photo book that you order also gets a free online photo gallery. Photos are ordered the same way that they are in your book, with all the captions and text pages right along them. We also resize and sharpen them for your screen so that they look awesome! Photos can be shown in a full-page flexible layout or in a vertical story mode which also shows your text pages.
How can I access my galleries?

When you order a photo book you get a link to your gallery in your order receipt email. Just follow that link to a Poyomi page with you gallery. You can share that link with friends or family.

Your photo book can also be ordered from the gallery page. Don't worry the gallery page is private and only accessible with the link you receive in your receipt.

What is a QR code and where can I see it?

A small rectangular QR code will get printed on the back cover of your Poyomi Photo Book. By scanning the QR code with your smart phone you will be taken to your Photo Book's gallery page on Poyomi.

You can decide if you want the code to be printed on your photo book in cart by checking the 'Add a QR code' box under your item. Even if you choose not to print the QR code you will still receive a link to your gallery in your order receipt email.

Shipping and ordering

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping cost depends on the weight of the order, the destination country, and the selected shipping method. Use our printing and shipping cost calculator to see the expected shipping cost for your order.

Where are the orders shipped from?

United States and Canada orders and shipped from United States. European Union orders are shipped from EU, so no import tax or custom fees apply. Orders to other countries are shipped from United States and may require the payment of import taxes, customs duties and fees. If so, these additional charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

What payment methods are available?

You can pay with a credit card or with a PayPal account. The payment is directly through PayPal and for credit card payments, no signup is necessary.

What countries can I ship my order to?
Orders of all sizes are shipped worldwide. Shipping carriers and delivery times vary by country.
How is my order packaged?
The packaging for single copies in the US via USPS is a clear plastic sleeve with a stick on address label on the outside of the sleeve. All other orders ship in a cardboard envelope or box.
Are there minimum or maximum order quantities?
There are no minimum or maximum order quantities for our products – you can order thousands, hundreds or a single copy, no problem! Also keep in mind that a very large order could potentially lengthen the delivery time, as it will take more time to print. In addition, for shipments outside the US, Canada and the UK, larger orders may be subject to higher customs fees and import duties.
Can I ship to an APO or FPO address?
FedEx does not deliver to APO or FPO addresses, so any shipments to overseas U.S. military bases must be shipped with our USPS First Class Mail option, which has a weight limit of 13 ounces. Note that USPS shipments to APO and FPO addresses may take a few extra days to arrive compared to shipments within the United States. When you enter the shipping address for these orders, put APO or FPO in the City field and AE, AP, or AA in the State field. Be sure to select United States as the Country.
Where do I enter my coupon code?
Enter your coupon code in the coupon box on the Cart page and click the "Update" button.
How can I cancel my order?
If you have placed your order while signed in to the Poyomi website, you can check the status of your order from the Orders part on your Account page accessible via the "My Account" link in the top right corner of any Poyomi page. Until an order has been sent to print, a Cancel Order button will be visible on the Order's page.
How can I check the status of my order?
If you placed your order while signed in to the Poyomi website, you can check the status on the Order's page on your Account page, accessible via the "My Account" or "Account page" link in the top right corner of any Poyomi page. If you were not signed in when you placed your order, you can contact us with the order number provided in your email receipt.
What is the return policy for Poyomi products?
If you received damaged, defective, incorrectly packaged items or if you were in any other way unhappy with our service, please contact us providing information about the problem with the product, delivery or our overall service and we will make sure that you stay a happy customer. If the product is in any way damaged, please try to send us some photos of the damaged product. Unfortunately we can not be responsible for the quality of your personal content, such as spelling and grammatical errors.
Do you offer any quantity discounts?

Yes, we do. A quantity discount will be applied automatically to your cart if you have enough items in it.

  • 2 items: 5% discount
  • 5 items: 10% discount
  • 15 items: 15% discount
  • 20 items: 20% discount


Why should I sign up for a Poyomi account?
You'll be able to save your books to your account and then come back to edit them again. There is also a list of all finished books, so you can always order more copies. Another great feature is that you can manage your book's custom brands.
What are book brandings?
Poyomi books are by default printed with a Poyomi logo on the back cover. You can create your own brands which comprise of the back cover text and logo. Sign up into your Poyomi account to manage them.
